The Renewal of Ministry service was celebrated on August 9, 2018, with the Rt. Rev. Brian Lee Cole, Bishop of the Diocese of East Tennessee as Celebrant and the Rev. Michael Doty as Preacher. In the context of a worship service that includes the renewal of baptismal vows and Holy Eucharist, a service for the “Renewal of Ministry” celebrates the commitment and responsibilities that clergy and congregation share in the parish at the beginning of a new ministry together.
