Membership

The path to becoming a member of St. James is not complicated. We will help you every step of the way. Becoming a member of St. James is available to you (whether you are new, transferred, confirmed or received) either by being baptized and/or having your baptism recorded in our parish records.

If you have been baptized in another Episcopal Church, please send your previous church a Request for Letter of Transfer. If you prefer, bring the filled in form to the office and we can help you with the process.

Membership at St. James Episcopal Church brings you into fellowship with all the faithful believers and makes you one with Christ’s Body, the Church. It also makes you part of the Episcopal Church and the worldwide Anglican Communion.

If you would like become a member of St. James, please fill out our short Membership Form (one per family member – please). This will help us a great deal to begin formally entering information into our parish record.

We hope that you will become and stay an Active Communicant in good standing.
