The St. James Choir is an integral part of our worship at St. James. The Adult Choir consists of 12 to 16 dedicated vocalists. They join together to sing joyfully for the Lord. Their singing supports the congregation. Parishioners who can read music or who simply love to sing are warmly invited to:
– Lead the congregation in the hymns appointed for each service
– Sing offertory anthems
– Provide cantor leadership for the Psalms
– Offer other musical prayers and responses
The Adult Choir rehearses during the school year on Wednesday evenings. Please get in touch with Joseph Robinson at music@stjamesgreeneville.org or call the church office at 423.638.6583 for more information about participating in the choir.
