You will not find a more welcoming community of faith in Greeneville, TN.
The path to becoming a member of St. James is not complicated. We will help you every step of the way. You are invited to become a member of St. James (whether you are new, transferred, confirmed, or received) by being baptized and/or having your previous baptism recorded in our parish records.
It doesn’t matter what church you were baptized in, you are still beloved in the eyes of God. If you have been baptized in another Episcopal Church, please send your previous church a Request for Letter of Transfer. If you prefer, bring the filled-in form to the office, and we can help you with the process.
Membership at St. James Episcopal Church brings you into fellowship with all faithful believers worldwide, making you one with Christ’s Body, the Church. It also makes you part of the Episcopal Church and the worldwide Anglican Communion.
If you would like to become a member of St. James, please fill out our short Membership Form (one per family member, please). This will help us formally enter your information into our parish record.
We hope that you will become and stay an Active Communicant in good standing. To become a communicant, you must have been baptized with water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, worship at St. James and be actively receiving the Holy Eucharist.
