On Christmas Eve at 5:00 p.m., the folks at St. James participated in a “Pick Up” Christmas Pageant. We told the story of the arrival of baby Jesus by dressing in costumes and reading the narration. Parishioners who participated did not know they were going to participate until that evening.
At 10:30 p.m. we worshipped in a traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Vigil beginning with a service of light and lessons from prophecy. The evening concluded with the proclamation of Jesus’ arrival and Holy Eucharist.
