The Bright Star Touring Theatre of Asheville, NC, will be giving a public performance of “North by Night: More Heroes of the Underground Railroad” on Friday, March 1. The performance will begin at 7:00 PM at St. James Episcopal Church – Greeneville, TN. The program is free and open to the public.
The performance will cap two days of performances being given in local schools.
The program is presented by the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site through the support of the Andrew Johnson Heritage Association. Sponsors of the Association include Andrew Johnson Bank, Consumer Credit Union, Unity Urology, GCS Partnership, Youth Builders of Greeneville, Tennessee, Inc., First Tennessee Foundation, and Copies Unlimited.
The Andrew Johnson Heritage Association is the “Official Friends Group” of the National Historic Site. It is a non-profit organization founded in 1982 by Margaret Johnson Patterson Johnson, the great-granddaughter of President Johnson.
