Confirmation, Reception, & Reaffirmation

In the Episcopal Church, the sacrament of Confirmation is bestowed upon those who have been baptized, sufficiently instructed in the Christian Faith, penitent for their sins, and ready to affirm their confession of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. It is considered a rite in which we express a mature commitment to Christ and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop. (Book of Common Prayer pg. 860)

If Confirmed in another denomination, but are unsure about Apostolic Succession, select Confirmation.
